PMI RECEIVES COGSWELL OUTSTANDING INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR 2005

Plano, Texas – June 2005 – PMI, a division of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), announced today that it has been selected as a recipient of the Defense Security Service James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award for 2005.

The Defense Security Service, Deputy Director, Industrial Security, Ms. Mary Griggs formally announced the recipients of the 2005 James S. Cogswell Award for sustained outstanding achievement in implementing the National Industrial Security Program at the National Classification Management Society (NCMS) Seminar in Seattle, WA on June 7, 2005. Shawn Wilkerson, PMI Facility Security Officer and Lisa Gonzalez, SNC Facility Security Manager, accepted this award on behalf of PMI, which was nominated after its Security Program received back-to-back "Superior" ratings during the 2003 and 2004 Defense Security Service audits.

Founded in 1992 and acquired by SNC in October 2001, PMI specializes in design, development, production and support of defense electronic systems. PMI’s main facility located in Plano, Texas is a 20,000 square foot facility housing engineering, manufacturing and administrative personnel.
